Tent on rack

If U have a Wing it fits, tent, swag, mattress (could fit mistress in there). 3 luggage compartments not used yet :-), 7 days clothing in R/H side, pump & tools in L/H side and Bourbon in the top plus poota and 'away-we-go'

Tried tent outside

Thought to see how quick it takes, from getting it out of the bag to getting assembled to getting it back in the bag....Eight minutes and that is only 2nd. go. Once out of the bag pull the string and 'up yer go', to pack it reverse order then roll it up and put it in the bag; I am not the smartest lantern on the block with camping but this a snack. Nice one Richard. Be Lucky. B.O.T.W.

Have a look on , www.instanttents.com > Richard Brookes, any man that can reply on Easter Sunday is O.K. by me. All I gotta get now is my Super An.....Wing is serviced by local who was recommended by Fred57, top job, very fair price. I have been lucky to find some top people. I take off 21/05/07 to Coffs then 'around the block' with 3 others on 29/05/07: get back when we get back!!!!! :-))))))

Just playing with camera

Took Wing for a good run today, it is out of this world, just have problems when I stop, seem to get feet down too early but after trip round Australia I'll have it mastered by then. Now I have to polish it, it is 2002 model but looks like showroom, previous owner looked after it, 'Thanks Alan'

End of rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly, birds fly over the rainbow Y then oh Y can't I ?

Getting closer

The birds will miss me. The team is now four people, I have been declared fit by a 'photo shoot' (colonoscapy and endoscopy) so trial packing is on the agender; just found out kitchen sink will not fit in Wing. Must find softer shoes that will bend, luggage will take 3 x 20 pounds but want to keep it as light as poss., need to pack all I need would like then to have top box empty for the things I forgot or dirty washing etc. We have now decided to take one man tents, sleeping bags and self inflating mattresses in case we cannot find a motel with vacancies, this equipment will have to be waterproofed and strapped to the rear seat. I intend to replace the tyres with new ones but keep the old ones ( they are near new) and refit them when I return, after 20000 Klms I think the new ones will be worn out, the Wing will have full Honda service before I leave and again in Perth. Suddenly the trip is just around the corner, we go to Coffs harbour for the A.G.M. (party) about 5000 of us, then we leave on 29/05/2007 heading South {keep the blue one on the left & the brown one on the right} and ... Be Lucky........ Bandit on the Wing
