Random thoughts

Due to my lack of poota access this posts are out of sequence. When we came back to Katherine we met two nice ladies in the pub next door to our motel, the were taking a break from government jobs in Darwin (no names), we conversed for some time and Neville did not wish to leave the bar; eventually he escorted them to their motel, all above board. The next day he told me we were to go to Daly Waters to a quaint pub (had rudest Canadian barman I have ever met) and the ladies would be there also, we did and they arrived, there was much drinking and great company. When I informed the group I was once a "Spook" in the military N wanted to entitle this episode 'The spook who shagged me' I do not "kiss and tell" N, spookdom will never be the same (ex military people will know what spooks did in the 60s). We also met two very nice young people, Holly (Canada, barman was rude to her too) Alistaire (London) and two bores, salesmen from Adelaide, we all walked out. Nev escorted the ladies to their cabin next door. We had extra day at the pub which was something to see but $29 bottle of Bourbon cost $48, BUGGA!!!!!!!. Message to Kathy and Ronnie : I will send U pics of Darwin when I return, I KNOW I drank your beer !!!!!! whoops. You are a very nice couple, hope you are lucky, I should be back on Sunday, not far to go and a senior citizen has done it, "All the way round on two wheels" I am very tired and want my own bed and my club. More thoughts as they come, I have a mountain of episodes but I cannot put them in order plus I have to go back so I try not to repeat myself.
